Background

Harley Burrows took up boxing during the Covid pandemic and came through March Boxing Club in Fenland. At 18 he won the national senior title, beating Chris Mulunda in the final, and went on to beat European gold medallists as an amateur. His knockout rate earned him the nickname “The Beast”.

In April 2026 he turned professional with Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing, trained by former British and Commonwealth champion Jordan Gill. He won his debut on points in Wolverhampton, dropping Lewis Howell with a body shot, then stopped Argentina’s Carlos Miguel Ronner in the first round at York Hall. He’s 3–0 with two knockouts.

“Hard work is everything, like anything in life. Put it in, and you’ll see results.”— Harley Burrows
